About us

Lane Consulting Services is a small, family-run consultancy with 25+ years of hands-on expertise in multifamily and commercial properties. We help building owners understand the real condition of their assets and plan their capital spending with confidence. Our team is small, agile, and productive, and we've earned decades-long relationships with clients who keep coming back. We recently launched Alamento, a building-intelligence platform built from our own field methodology — so there's room here to grow into new domains as the business grows.

The opportunity

This is a role with real upward mobility. You'd join a tight, experienced team where your judgment matters and your work is seen. We're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term home, take on increasing responsibility over time, and become a trusted domain expert — both for our consulting clients and, potentially, for Alamento’s software.

What you'll do

Edit, cost estimate, and project capital expenditure (CapEx) plans for client facilities
Finalize and polish condition assessment and consulting reports
Conduct facility inspections (optional and as needed — we have field staff who can cover site work, so travel is possible)
Lend domain expertise across LCS projects and, potentially, support Alamento as a subject-matter expert

What we're looking for

Facilities management experience, or a construction background with broad commercial-scale remodel / rehab experience
Solid judgment on pricing and scheduling capital work
Comfort with the basics of computers and standard office software (deep technical/computer expertise is not required but a plus)
Someone reliable who delivers on deadlines, communicates clearly, and works well on a small team
Spanish speaking is a plus, not required.
